Sweet Almond Milk - YMSA Yoga Meditation Studio Palm Beach

 

Delicious Healthy Sweet Almond Milk

Perfect, easy to digest energy boost before or after your yoga meditation class

Ingredients

3 cups almonds, soaked
1/2 cup organic oats, soaked
8 cups water
8 or more pitted dates (less sweet, less dates)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Maple syrup (optional)

How To:
  • Soak almonds and organic oats in seperate containers overnight. 
  • Strain the almonds, not the oats.
  • Add all ingredients to a blender.
  • Grind until smooth.
  • Drink as is or, strain pulp through a sieve, a nut milk bag or muslin cloth. (optional)
Keep refrigerated and drink within 3-4 days.
Recipe makes approximately 2 litres of sweet almond milk.

Halve the recipe if you don't want as much almond milk. In our household almond milk is very popular, so it doesn't last long. A larger quantity is better for us.
